V. International Social Rights Symposium
31 October – 1/2 November 2013
Social Rights Symposiums that are organized by the Departments of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the universities with the supports of some trade unions have started on the basis of these purposes and ideas.
Akdeniz University organized the First Symposium at international level from 22nd - 23rd of October 2009; Pamukkale University organized the Second Symposium at national level from 4th – 6th of November 2010. The Third Symposium with its main theme “Prohibition of Discrimination and Turkey in the European Social Charter” was realized by Kocaeli University from 25th – 26th of October 2011 in consideration of the 50th Anniversary of the European Social Charter. The Fourth Symposium at national level was organized by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University with the main theme “Strikes, Collective Actions and Resistances in Turkey” from 18th – 19th of October 2012.
Uludağ University is organizing the Fifth Social Rights Symposium at international level with an interdisciplinary approach and participation from 31st of October – 1st – 2nd of November 2013
